California - Day Five

Finally here on our way to Fort Bragg.

The first thing that happens when you roll into California on H - 101 is going through a Fruit check point.  You need to declare any fruits you are carrying in order for them to be inspected.   The Fruit Customs......

After hours of twirly, tight two lanes roads and me gripping on to the roof handle, we arrived safely to Fort Bragg.  My old stomping ground.  It is such a lovely place.  Totally historic with restored buildings and properties full of charm.  This is the nicest and cleanest coastal small town ever.  It even makes you forget how out of the way it is and although beautiful, the road is quite tiring.  It takes forever to get here.

Out for a lovely supper this is the picture I took from our table.

Outside our hotel where we love to take walks.

Love the view from our balcony.
